PM’s NICTSP 2014

Prime Minister’s National ICT Scholarship Program 2014 has been announced:

National ICT R&D Fund is offering scholarships to talented students from rural/non-metropolitan areas of Pakistan with the objective to develop human resource capacity in the fields of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in Pakistan. The Prime Minister’s National ICT Scholarship Program 2014 provides fully funded 4 year undergraduate degree scholarships in ICT related disciplines in the leading ICT universities of Pakistan.

Dear Student, if you have not joined the university/discipline awarded to you by National ICT R&D Fund and still awaiting result of your “First Preference” university, you are advised to update your current status by sending an email on nictsp@ictrdf.org.pk at the earliest.

Schools/Colleges Registration

The list of Schools/Colleges already registered with National ICT R&D Fund is available here;

Please browse the list to identify any omissions/errors in the registration detail of your respective school/college.

Please go through following criteria to add your school/college OR to make any amendment.

Schools/Colleges Registration Criteria:

  1. Public schools/colleges from rural/non-metropolitan areas of Punjab, Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa offering HSSC classes with Mathematics and Physics.
  2. However, all the schools/colleges of Balochistan, AJK, FATA and Giligit Baltistan offering HSSC classes with Mathematics and Physics, and, having monthly fee less than Rs.2,000/month will be eligible for registration under this Program.

All interested schools/colleges fulfilling the above criteria located in non-metropolitan/rural areas of Pakistan (including AJK, FATA and Gilgit Baltistan) can apply for registration.

PM-NICTSP Extended for Spring 2012 Semester

Prime Minister’s National ICT Scholarship Program 2011
(Extended for Spring 2012 Semester)

The Scholarship program is being extended to provide opportunity to students who could not benefit from it in Fall 2011 semester. For year 2011 (Extended Spring 2012) there will be no ICT Scholarship Award Test. Students are advised to take admission in Participating Universities, of their choice, on their own.

FAST-NU Test

Exam Information and Guide

  • Exam Outline through which you can view the test sections and topics within the sections.
  • Practice Tests which will give you an idea about the test and navigation within the test.
  • Exam Guide which will describe to you, in detail, the test environment and way of attempting the test.
  • Exam Dates, the complete schedule of test to be held.

    All contents provided here are for information purposes only. The sample questions are not intended to take the place of study for the actual admission test. The University does not make any representation or warranty that any individual who makes use of these sample questions will be successful in obtaining admission.
Important:
    Please bring following documents to the campus at the time of Entry Test:
    • Original and a copy of CNIC or Form ‘B’ (NADRA)
    • Two recently taken colour photographs (3cm x 2cm).
    • Original and copy of Matric/O-level Mark Sheet and Certificate.
    • Original and copy of Intermediate/A-level Mark Sheet and Certificate or Roll Number Slip if result not yet declared.
    • School/College Provisional Certificate.

Students are advised to arrive at the test center one hour before the test time.

Update

For year 2011 there will be no ICT Scholarship Award Test. Students are advised to take admission in Participating Universities, of their choice, on their own.

There is no Student Registration Form to be filled at this instance. Students are advised to ensure admission in one of the Participating Universities. Student Registration process shall be initiated later.

Note: Student should get admission in ICT Disciplines only to be eligible for this Scholarship Award.
